Resting for the evening

Found a hotel in Winston which is a town near the meteor crater. I'm going to head there first and then to Grand Canyon. 

The drive was long today - some 400 miles but the changing scenery made it worthwhile. Arizona and California are much the same in their make up. Vast deserts to verdant forests within a short distance. 

 Took a lot of pictures with my other camera which I will add to these posts later.
